The years are flying by; we have enriched our lives by meeting so many great people in the last eight years.

The fishing in 2007 was one of the best since we bought the Lodge.

Three couples came on July 27th and fished for five days and ended up catching 1080 fish, most of them were Northern Pike.

Then on August 1st, 3 guys and a strapping young fellow came in and had the trip of a life time, catching 25 Lake Trout between 31 and 38 inches which would be between 12 and 20 pounds.

The winner of the Largest Lake Trout this year was Barry Stein from Texas who caught a 40-inch Trout.

Dennis Knautz also of Texas caught the largest Northern Pike 43 inches long. He

But on the Home front things were very hectic. Marion and I are building a new home, that is why this letter is late. Our lives right now revolve around the new home. We are hoping to be in by Christmas if every thing goes well.

My Hunting also took a back seat this year, but did manage to get a moose calf with my friend Lorne when we did get away for a one-day trip.

Marion is as busy as ever. They picked up another 6 branches as of January 1st, 2008 She also received her 30-year Service award this year. But is still not ready to retire.

Due to a prior engagement, which falls on the same weekend, we will not be able to attend the Denver Sports show. But will be there next year.

We will be able to attend the Rapid City Show hope to see you all there.
